Our 20-Year Engineering Story
From client-server .NET desktop applications in a Nathdwara startup to multi-tenant US SaaS platforms and autonomous agent systems. The engineering journey that shaped modern AI architecture discipline.
Building Enterprise-Grade .NET in India
SHIVAM ITCS was Founded in 2011 in Nathdwara, Rajasthan (with engineering roots tracing back to 2005) with a singular mission: deliver enterprise-grade .NET software without the Silicon Valley overhead. While the world chased Web 2.0 startups, we focused on the unglamorous but critical work of building backend systems that didn't fail.
Our first projects were traditional ASP.NET WebForms applications—client-server desktop monoliths served businesses from manufacturing to healthcare. By 2008, we had deployed systems handling 100,000+ concurrent users with sub-100ms latency. We learned relational algebra, transaction atomicity, and the cost of bad SQL the hard way.
Pioneering Multi-Tenant Cloud Architecture
The cloud era arrived with AWS (2006) and Azure (2010). We didn't just migrate legacy systems—we architected the first wave of multi-tenant SaaS platforms built on .NET. Our mantra: "One codebase, many customers, strict data isolation."
This era produced HiveGPT (an early text analytics platform), Social27 (a US-headquartered social commerce platform), and Clearly Inventory (logistics optimization). Each taught us lessons about high-concurrency databases, distributed caching, and the cost of eventual consistency.
From Deterministic Code to Probabilistic Intelligence
2023 changed everything. Large language models proved that probabilistic systems could deliver business value. But we noticed something: every AI company was rushing to wrap LLMs in thin Python Flask apps without understanding enterprise requirements. State management. Transaction boundaries. Audit trails. Compliance.
Our response: Engineer AI the way we engineer databases. Strict input/output validation. Deterministic schema enforcement. Cyclic execution loops with exit conditions. Our "Commander Architecture" emerged—a production AI framework that treats agents as first-class system components, not proof-of-concepts.
By 2025, we had deployed autonomous multi-agent swarms orchestrating hospital supply chains, financial reconciliation pipelines, and content generation systems handling millions of daily requests.
The Engineering Philosophy That Endures
Production First
Every line of code must survive production before it ships. We prioritize reliability over velocity.
Zero Surprises
Legacy code teaches that observable, deterministic behavior is a feature. We apply this to AI systems.
Full-Stack Ownership
One cohesive team owns database → API → frontend → AI pipeline. No vendor blame games.
Enterprise Discipline
18 years of compliance, audit, and data protection requirements inform every architectural decision.
